Sunday Oct 19, 2025 is the official end of the 2025 Garden Season.
ALL renters must have their plots prepared for Winter by this date.
Not Returning?
If you are not returning next year, your plot, and paver border needs to be completely cleared of everything (plants, weeds, Bermuda grass, ornaments, tomato cages, stakes) so that the next renter receives the plot in the same condition that you received it.
Returning?
If you are returning, and/or Fall gardening, you are still required to have your plot cleared of all Summer plants that are no longer producing and weeded and mulched (including pavers around your plot). Any items that could blow during the Winter should be secured or taken home.
If you are not Fall gardening, your full plot needs to be covered with either cover crop, tarp, or some type of mulch (cardboard, straw, pine needles…) by this Sunday.
If you are Fall gardening, any part of your plot not being planted for Fall should be covered with a crop or mulch by this Sunday so weeds do not regrow.
Cover crop is in the toolbox by the rest area if you have not planted it yet.
